Our client, a leading digital assets trading platform focused on serving institutional clients in APAC and the US, are looking to hire for a Compliance Manager position in Hong Kong. This role requires you to be 5 days in the office (on-site) giving the ideal candidate a great opportunity to work closely with senior management & the founding team.

Main Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain a relationship with local regulators to help move license applications forward.
- Be responsible for compliance risk assessment & management.
- Implement compliance program, ensure elements are improved upon and delivered well.
- Deal with external stakeholders on compliance matters and keep informed with regulations, etc.

Requirements:

- Bachelors degree in Law or related field.
- 4+ years' experience in compliance for a financial trading firm or crypto exchange (preferably in the institutional space), at least 2 of those years with crypto compliance experience.
- Fluency in English + Mandarin (a plus).
- Ability to work well within a start-up environment, handle tasks well and collaborate with team members effectively.
- Good communication, organisation, and written skills.
