They're looking to hire a VP of Research and Development (R&D) that'll be spearheading groundbreaking developments within the tech team. This role will be based in Bucharest, Romania with a requirement to go into the office a few times a week as you get acclimatized to the team working there and future options of fully remote work once you're settled in.

Responsibilities:

- Implementing enterprise architecture best practices.
- Overseeing and guiding all activities of the fintech and blockchain teams.
- Mentoring engineering personnel, promoting best practices and skill improvement.
- Leading the design, build, and management of secure, scalable, and resilient platforms.
- Collaborating with product, compliance, and other units to define and execute the company roadmap.

Requirements:

- Strong system-level troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency in English communication.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
- Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in software engineering roles.
- Experience with micro-service architecture and high-scale distributed systems.
- Familiarity with iOS/Android development and cryptography.
- Proactive approach with effective teamwork skills.
